Get vision correction surgery at no cost.

The Air Force’s Corneal Refractive Surgery (CRS) program offers free LASIK and PRK procedures at military treatment facilities and selected civilian partner clinics. It’s designed to reduce or eliminate the member's need for glasses or contacts, especially critical for aircrew, special operations, and deployable personnel. The surgery is offered at a handful of DoD refractive centers nationwide. Beyond just surgery, the program covers pre-op consultations, post-op follow-ups, and any medically necessary enhancements. Permissive TDY for the surgery and medical quarters (leave) afterwards are included.
