Free cybersecurity training and cert prep, hundreds of hours of it.

CISA Learning is the government's free, on-demand cybersecurity training platform, and it replaced the old Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE). It carries roughly 850 hours of self-paced training mapped to the NICE framework, from beginner to advanced, covering things like ethical hacking, malware analysis, cloud security, and risk management. Several tracks are built as prep for industry certifications such as Security+, CISSP, and CISM. You work at your own pace from any computer or phone. Note that course content is still being migrated from FedVTE through the end of FY26, so the full catalog is still filling in.

Military Benefit

Free, including roughly 850 hours of training and certification prep
